Scenar Health Trainers
Scenar Health's Trainers are all certified through the RITM SCENAR Institute - the only English-speaking RITM SCENAR training program endorsed by the originators and manufacturers of genuine RITM SCENAR products.
Scenar Health's Trainers are all members of the SCENAR Therapist Association of Australasia (STAA) and are Certified SCENAR Practitioners according to the requirements of STAA.
Chris Mortensen
Chris was introduced to the benefits of RITM SCENAR in late 2002 and trained under the Russian originators of RITM SCENAR. He is now considered one of the world's most experienced RITM SCENAR practitioners and trainers, sought by Olympic champions and elite athletes from Australia and overseas to treat their injuries, accelerate their recovery and optimise their performances.
Chris has been endorsed by the Russian doctors and originators of SCENAR technology as their English-speaking representative and author of all English language RitmSCENAR training materials.
He has been a keynote speaker at numerous global conferences on pain management and integrative health, and has educated doctors and pain specialists world-wide.
Vincent Bowyer
Vincent is an experienced RITM SCENAR Practitioner and has trained others in this technology across the globe. Vincent was trained to Level III by Chris Mortensen and has attended Master Classes and Train the Trainer courses by Prof. Dr. Alexander Revenko in Sydney and Switzerland.
Vincent runs the busy Ache Busters® Clinic in Lismore, NSW, together with two other Level III practitioners and is the President of the SCENAR Therapist Association Australasia Inc.
African born, Vincent moved to Australia in the mid 1970’s to study and never left. His experience of differing cultures has provided him with an empathy than enables him to work closely for and with his patients and learners. His is passionate about SCENAR technology and its role in supporting people through their lives.
Athina Parise, WA
Athina Parise is a Critical Care registered nurse, RITM SCENAR Therapist (Level 4). She has specialized in Critical Care Nursing and Adult Education. She was a guest speaker at the 2010 Australasian SCENAR Conference, in Sydney.
Her clinic is situated in the northern suburbs of Perth. Athina is concurrently employed as a Senior Registered Nurse in Emergency Department at a leading hospital in Western Australia.
Her vision is to work collaboratively to integrate the highly sophisticated technology of RITM SCENAR (through rigorous clinical trials and education) so that treatment with RITM SCENAR may become an accessible choice for all consumers living with pain. The positive patient outcomes achieved in her RITM SCENAR clinical practice have inspired her to pursue this vision – particularly within the area of chronic pain. Her patient’s often describe, “Higher activity and energy levels, decreased use of pharmaceuticals, overall increased quality of life and feelings of wellness”. Athina’s objective is to utilize her knowledge, skills and commitment to excellence in health care, to help increase quality of life and promote RITM SCENAR in integrated care for those individuals living with pain.
Juully Lyons
With over 25 years experience as a physiotherapist and 6 years as a full time RITM SCENARtherapist, Juully Lyons returns to Scenar Health as our Consulting Physiotherapist and RITM SCENAR Certified trainer.
Juully's role is in clinical consultation and training to physiotherapists and other health professionals developing their skills in RITM SCENAR therapy. In this role Juully aims to contribute to the advancement of RITM SCENAR therapy as a more widely recognised medical modality and in so doing, help bring about a significant improvement in the standard of our community's health.
Bhavani Rooks, Vic
Bhavani is a RITM SCENAR practitioner with over 25 years experience working with the human body. Through the modalities of being a registered nurse, remedial massage therapist, yoga and pilates instructor. Bhavani has been teaching in all her fields of expertise for over 10 years. For the past 7 years she has been working full time as a RITM SCENAR practitioner and for the past three years has also been a RITM SCENAR trainer. Bhavani runs her 'Health on Course' clinic in Cowes, Victoria. She is on the executive committee of STAA
Lesia Mortensen
Lesia began working with RITM SCENAR in 2004 after leaving her highly successful women's health practice in the UK to settle in Australia.
Lesia is trained as a RITM SCENAR Therapist to Level 4 and has attended Master class training with Dr Alexander Revenko and Prof. Alexander Tarakanov.
Lesia is also Scenar Health's Sydney Mobile RITM SCENAR practitioner.
Cyril Bourke - The Zap House, Maroochydore
Cyril is a RITM SCENAR Institute Certified trainer with the Zap House Clinic in Maroochydore, QLD. Cyril first became involved with the complementary health industry after suffering a combination of long term chronic an acute illness. After exhausting his options available within the main-stream medical system he found dramatic health improvements from energetic complementary alternative therapy. This so impressed him that he changed his career to RITM SCENAR Therapy. Cyril is a dedicated therapist and trainer, and delivers with passion and enthusiasm.
